We have a documented support path plan and behaviour support developed and executed under principles of positive behaviour support. The principles of positive behaviour support are followed stating that services should be person-centred, based on an understanding of an individual’s behaviour, mindful of people’s preferences around communication, and as un-restrictive as possible.
We actively aim to understand the young person’s behaviour and communication by assessing the physical and social environment in which the behaviour occurs, taking into account the perspectives of all stakeholders. We use this understanding to develop, implement and evaluate a personalized system of support that will enhance the quality of life for the person supported and other stakeholders.
Tri-Elite specialises in providing high quality supported accommodation to Young People of ages 16+. This includes children in care of the local authority, care leavers and unaccompanied asylum-seeking children.
Guided by our three pillars of Choice, Opportunity, and control, we acknowledge that everyone is unique in terms of needs, interests, goals, and culture. As Tri-Elite, we thus endeavour to provide both Shared and Solo Supported Accommodation considering the diverse needs of the Young People.
Our shared accommodation takes into account the readiness and ability of a Young Person to harmoniously live with others. Thus, we follow a strict policy of matching and placing together Young People while ensuring that they do not pose risks to each other.
At Tri-Elite, we place value on individual space. Hence, our shared accommodation may contain 3 – 5young people. However, every young person has their own dedicated bedroom, while bathroom and living facilities are shared.
To ensure that Young People own their space, our team of professionals has their own bedroom and bathroom facilities.
Central to the services we provide at Tri-Elite is the uniqueness of individuals and what they bring with them.
Our goal is to see all Young People in our care growing into fine, independent young adults. It is for this reason that we have, as part of our services, solo living supported accommodation. This is reserved for any young person whose needs and requirements can only be fully met and realised when living in their own space with dedicated support staff.
For guaranteed safety, we provide additional support in the form of 1:1 and/or 2:1 to a Young Person considering their individual needs..
As Tri-Elite we are committed to safeguarding young people who are placed in our care. We have robust and effective safeguarding policies and procedures in place which are adhered to as we work together with other stakeholders such as the police, Local Safeguarding Boards, Health, the local authority, and education.
We follow safer recruitment policies and procedures and comply with relevant legislation and ensure that all staff have an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate before they can start working with us.
